One of the co accused killers of Tim Bosma took the stand in his own defence today.
28 year old Mark Smich of Oakville described to a Hamilton courtroom his version of the night Bosma was killed.
Smich testified that he was driving behind his co-accused Dellen Millard, as Millard and Bosma went on a test drive of a truck Bosma was trying to sell.
Smich says the truck then pulled over, which was not a part of the plan.
Millard had come to get a flashlight out of the car Smich was driving.
When Smich got out of the vehicle he’d been driving, he saw Bosma slumped over the steering wheel with a bullet hole coming through the passenger window.
Bosma’s wife was in the courtroom as he testified.
The other co-accused, Dellen Millard of Toronto, has chosen not to testify in his own defence.
Bosma disappeared on May 6th 2013, after going for a test drive in his truck.
His burned body was found more than a week later.
