It appears the vast majority of the 26-thousand Syrian refugees who arrived in Canada by the end of last month came here healthy.
Government data shows only 10 were sent to hospital upon landing for possible communicable diseases, while 54 were sent
for other urgent medical reasons and there were two possible cases of non-infectious tuberculosis.
The agency notes it will take time for chronic conditions and mental-health concerns to present themselves and warns
health-care professionals to remain vigilant
