There’s a public meeting set for Wednesday to update the community about the two Syrian refugee families locating in Collingwood.
Chair Thomas Vincent says its just a waiting game now.
He says some communities have gotten 24 hours notice, others 72 hours where others have been waiting for weeks.
He hopes they’ll know more about the families and how many members are in each, within the next couple of weeks.
They would love to have potential volunteers show up at the meeting Wednesday afternoon at 3 at the Collingwood United Church.
