C-F-B Borden is being prepared for the arrival of Syrian refugees should the central Ontario base be required by the federal government.
The Canadian Red Cross is heading up those efforts.
Spokeswoman Melissa Fougere says services that would be offered include reception, lodging, snacks and refreshments, laundry, and facilitating
family connections, so they can stay in contact with loved ones.
Fougere says they are also preparing at C-F-B Kingston and C-F-B Valcartier, but none of those locations currently have refugees
