A day after laying out his vision for the future of Canada’s economy, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will spend today selling the country’s merits in a
day of meetings with business leaders in Switzerland.
Trudeau is a political celebrity at the World Economic Forum in Davos, and his top officials want to take advantage of all doors his new status can
open for him in terms of face time with international power brokers.
He has meetings scheduled with chief executives from four major companies, including drug giant Novartis and General Motors, along with a
face-to-face with Switzerland’s president.
